He creates a hype about something and then finishes it immaturely like framing a character in the whole novel and then making him/her innocent at the end. The discovery of Edmon Kirsch was immature for laymen and scientists equally and I should say very premature and does not conclude anything. It was a below-par novel by Dan's standards.
